I take care in making sure that the office is prepped and set for an ultimate patient experience. My everyday goal is to keep and create a smooth-running office. Our patient's treatment and care are our top priority. I ultimately aspire to create a space in which patients feel comfortable and understood when expressing any, and all skin care needs.

My background in medicine and aesthetics allows me to deliver results-driven treatments with a focus on precision, safety, and personalized care. I help patients achieve healthy, radiant skin while supporting their overall health and confidence. Hello, my name is Karen Medrano. I’m a proud Hispanic nurse injector with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best through safe, natural results. With nearly four years of experience in a hospital setting, I bring a strong clinical foundation into the world of aesthetics. I’ve completed specialized training in medical aesthetics and remain committed to ongoing education to stay current with the latest techniques and safety protocols. Aesthetics has always been a true passion of mine, and I’m excited to offer personalized, high-quality care to all of our Bella E Skin MD patients. I look forward to welcoming you!

At a very young age, I knew I wanted to be a Nurse. I knew I enjoyed helping others and really loved the beauty industry, but I didn't know how those two worlds could mutually exist in the nursing world. I was working towards my nursing degree, and at the time I wasn't sure what field in nursing I wanted to pursue. It wasn't until 7 years ago that I walked into my first med spa for a Botox appointment. The minute I walked out of that office I knew that's what I was meant to do. Becoming an injector wouldn't be easy, but I was determined. I graduated nursing school and knew I needed experience as a bedside nurse. I started my nursing career as a dialysis nurse. Soon after I accepted a position in a tele/MedSurg unit. As I began feeling more comfortable in my new role, I knew it was time to go for what I really wanted. I was injectable certified in 2021 and began offering Botox and filler to friends and family. I shadowed other nurses and continued to learn.
I took a leap of faith in myself and in late 2021 I officially opened Plumped Aesthetics! I truly enjoy each interaction and love being able to help each person who walks through my door. I look forward to providing injectable services to all Bella E Skin MD patients!
Melinda Wang, MD, DABOM
Medical Director
Dr. Wang is a board certified internal medicine and obesity medicine physician, and certified by the AAFE in botox and filler. She completed her residency through Creighton University, working at St. Joseph Medical Center and Valleywise Health, and completed over 20 research papers during her time there. She was an award recipient of the St. Joseph’s Foundation Scholarly Activity Grant to bring ultrasound curriculum to residents.
Dr. Wang is a lifelong learner and constantly learning more about facial aesthetics, ultrasound, and integrative medicine. She offers weight loss consultations, as well as injectables. Her specialty is natural appearing injections to let your own beauty shine through.
